Days after two Mac’s convenience store clerks were killed in two separate attacks, the company they worked for has set up a fund to help their families.

Mac’s said Monday that a trust fund had been set up to help the families of Karanpal Singh Bhangu, 35, and Ricky Massin Cenabre, 41, who were both killed in two separate attacks at convenience stores early Friday morning.

“Our entire organization is in a state of mourning after the loss of two of our Edmonton colleagues on Friday,” Bonnie Birollo, Mac’s VP of Operations for Western Canada said in a statement. “We are doing what we can to support their families, friends and colleagues.”

Starting Monday, an official bank account has been set up to help the families of the two victims, and Canadian residents can contribute to it.

Donations can be made in person at any CIBC branch, via wire transfer or through INTERAC e-Transfer to edmsupportfund@macs.ca (password: family) and the following details.
