Edmonton police are investigating after a stabbing incident left one man dead and four others injured.

Officers were called out around 3:30 a.m. Sunday to 102 Street and 107 Avenue.

Upon arrival they discovered two men with stab wounds.

The men were taken to hospital where they remain in stable but serious condition.

Homicide investigators discovered a third man with stab wounds at an apartment one block away at 103 Street and 107 Avenue.

The 23-year-old was taken to hospital where he later died.

Police later found two men in hospital who were also suffering stab wounds.

Investigators believe the incidents are related.
