One man was killed and a suspect was taken into custody following an apparent hit and run in Mill Woods Monday afternoon.
The pedestrian was struck at Mill Woods Road South at 48 Street around 4:30 p.m.
Police said the driver fled following the crash but was arrested nearby soon after. Both speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the collision.
The name and age of the male victim have not been released.
Officers are investigating.
No other details have been released.
