Police are investigating, after a pedestrian was hit by a car in west Edmonton Tuesday evening, and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash took place at about 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the intersection of 87 Avenue and 169 Street.
According to police, a woman was entering the intersection in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by the car.
The woman was rushed to the U of A hospital with what police called serious head injuries.
The victim’s name has not been released.
