Edmonton police called off their search for two young boys and their mother after the three were found at a west-end hotel Saturday evening.
The three had gone missing at about 11 a.m. Saturday when the mother told family members she was taking her 3-year-old son and 5-year-old son a park near their home.
Family members say they became concerned when she didn't return.
Police say at about 1 p.m. Saturday family members got a phone call from the mother saying she was in St. Albert and was planning to take the kids to Yellowknife.
Medical officials and police were concerned for the well being of the family because the mother suffers from a medical condition which would make it difficult for her to care for her children.
The family was located at a west Edmonton hotel at around 10:30 p.m. Police have not yet released any details about the incident.
