RCMP from Kitscoty and Edmonton are investigating a suspicious death, after police found the body of a man in the north end of Lloydminster.
Police were called to a rural location in the north end of Lloydminster at about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25.
There, officers found the body of a man in his 30s; RCMP later identified him as Bryan Gower, 35, from the Lloydminster area.
Early investigations indicated witnesses heard what they believed to be gunfire earlier that morning.
The death is being treated as suspicious, pending results of an autopsy which has been scheduled for Thursday.
