The Trial for one of the accused in the shooting death of a 33-year-old man will begin on Monday.

Christian Lyamureme has been charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the death of Dale Maloney.

Police charged Lyamureme following an investigation that began in August, 2012.

Officials said they believe an argument broke out between three men in a parking lot near Jasper Avenue and 113 Street.

They also said they believed the disagreement resulted in Maloney being shot in the stomach.

Two men were said to be seen fleeing the scene.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the other man believed to be involved.

Police have been searching for Bicco Saidi since November, 2012.

The jury trial will begin at 10 a.m. in Edmonton’s Court of Queen’s Bench.
