Friends and family members of three people who went missing on a fishing trip Monday finally have some closure; all three bodies were pulled from Devil's Lake Saturday.

Divers found the body of Zsolt Voros just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon and shortly after they found the body of his five-year-old son Hunor LeRose and 25-year-old family friend Kyle Digout.

"None of them had life jackets on and the last two were found approximately 25 feet from the first, who was found close to the boat," said Cpl. Barb Roy.

The three boaters went missing early this week after they set off for a fishing trip in Lac Ste. Anne County.

Almost 40 friends and family members of the missing boaters joined about a dozen Parkland search and rescue personnel early in the week to scour the area surrounding the lake.

"This is more than a waiting game. We're all staring out on a body of water and we know there's people in there. There's a boat, there's clothes, there's a lifejacket," said Digout's good friend Erinn Coombes before his body was recovered from the lake.

Many people were aware their loved ones were most likely not going to make it out alive, but the reality of the situation was difficult for many to grasp.

"A lot of them were expecting this result, but it's still hard to take once you find out," said Cpl. Roy.

On Friday rescue crews located the men's fishing boat sitting at the bottom of the lake.

On Saturday afternoon divers came out of the water with two lifejackets, a shoe, a tackle box and sweatpants.

"I believe the boat is down about 28 feet. Our cameras only go to 25 feet so we can't get a good look," said Cpl. Roy.

The discovery was heartwrenching for many who believed their loved ones might still be alive.

"Nobody wants to think the grim thoughts, but everyone has the strength to say just bring Kyle home," said Coombes. "We'll take him however we can get him, just bring him home."

All three bodies have been taken to the medical examiners office in Edmonton.
