With an extreme cold warning in effect for the Edmonton area, homeless people will be able to take refuge underground at LRT concourses overnight.

Concourses are usually closed from 1:30 a.m. until 5 a.m., but they will remain open until it warms up.
Environment Canada expects the wind chill to reach -40 Saturday night.
