Edmonton police officers are investigating a suspicious death in the city’s northeast.
Investigators were on scene outside a four-storey apartment complex in the area of 49 Street and 134 Avenue late Saturday evening.
However by late Sunday morning, no police cruisers remained on scene.
The EPS confirms the death is considered suspicious, but no other details have been released.
This is the second suspicious death Edmonton police officers are investigating this weekend.
On Friday evening, police officers and fire crews were called out to a blaze in northwest Edmonton near 121 Avenue and 123 Street.
After the fire was contained, a man was found severely injured inside the home. He was treated on scene but later died in hospital.
