A 27-year-old man died after a snowboard incident at a resort in southern Alberta.
The incident happened at Castle Mountain, 220 kilometers south of Calgary.
Witnesses said the man was going down the slope at a fast speed when he lost control and collided with a tree stump.
The victim had been wearing a helmet and chest protector at the time.
No further details were released.
