Days after a man was found dead in north central Edmonton, police have confirmed the death was the city’s most recent homicide.

On Monday, officers were called to the area of 125 Street and 118 Avenue, outside of a business, after 3:20 a.m.

Police arrived to find the body of a man in an alley. An autopsy was carried out Tuesday morning.

Officials said the deceased had been identified as Mohamed Ahmed Adam, 33, died from gunshot wounds.
