Edmonton police said Friday morning that officers were looking for three suspects, and a vehicle, after a carjacking unfolded in an east Edmonton parking lot earlier that day.

Police said a 57-year-old man was allegedly robbed by armed suspects just before 5 a.m. Friday when he was at the bank area of 61 Street and Terrace Road.

It’s alleged the suspects stole his cellphone and vehicle.

The man was treated on the scene and taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle that was allegedly taken in the incident is described as a red 4-door 2012 Suzuki Kizashi, with dark tinted windows and an Alberta licence plate BNN 1530.

The three suspects are described as young Caucasian males.

Anyone with information on the incident, suspects or the vehicle is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
