An investigation has determined that a man who died in Onoway June 26 was accompanied by two people prior to his death, RCMP said.
Casey Potts and his girlfriend Sharisse Monkman were with Glen Allen Abbott before he died. The three of them attempted a robbery with a firearm to steal a woman’s vehicle as she left a graduation ceremony with her 6-year-old son.
Monkman was arrested on robbery charges, and Potts is wanted on second degree murder of Abbott and robbery charges.
RCMP asks for the public’s help in finding Potts, but advice not to approach him. Anyone with details on the investigation is asked to call 780-968-7267.
