Edmonton police said a man is facing charges, after he turned himself over to police Monday.

Police said Aaron Mullins, 28, turned himself in to Homicide detectives Monday at Edmonton Police Headquarters – he’s now charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from the death of Kerry McGill, 41.

The investigation began after police were called to the area of 105 Street and 99 Avenue at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8.

Police said an autopsy was carried out the same day, but the Medical Examiner found the results to be inconclusive – at last word, officials were waiting on results from a toxicology test.
