Edmonton police have arrested and charged three people in a counterfeiting and forgery operation.

Police said officers in Northeast Division were investigating a reported break and enter Wednesday, September 13 – details from that report prompted police to execute a search warrant at a home in the area of 151 Avenue and 95 Street.

Officers recovered property from the break and enter in that home, and uncovered a counterfeiting and forgery operation.

Investigators found a number of personal documents, including identification cards, credit cards and stolen mail.

Three people have been arrested: Krystin Moore, 30, William Schaffrick, 45, and Sebastiaan Van Den Biggelaar, 74, they have been charged with making counterfeit money, possession of counterfeit money and possession of forgery instruments.

Police have also charged Moore and Schaffrick with break and enter. More charges are pending.

Police are still investigating.
