EDMONTON -- An RCMP officer has been charged with sexual assault after a two-year investigation.
Const. Kelly Brown was charged after a woman was sexually assaulted in Leduc on July 6, 2017, the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) said.
ASIRT said Brown was off duty at the time of the assault.
Brown is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 17.
