A fire has ripped through a cabin located in Jasper National Park.

The fire broke out overnight in a 3,725-square foot cabin, which is owned by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

As of Thursday morning, fire crews were still dousing hotspots in the Stanley Thompson Cabin (the cabin is named for Canada's foremost golf course architect of the 1920s).

According to the company's website, the cabin has five bedrooms, three Jacuzzi tubs and a private catering entrance.

A damage estimate is not known. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
