Days after a Wetaskiwin-area animal sanctuary went public over a missing blind goat, the animal was back at the animal sanctuary.

Back on Monday, officials with the Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement (FARRM) said the beloved animal, named Daisy, had gone missing the night before.

The organization conducted a number of searches to find Daisy, but to no avail.

However, on Wednesday night, the organization said a neighbour had found Daisy close to home.

The group posted a photo of Daisy reunited with her best friend, a blind sheep named Merlin.

FARRM had offered a $10,000 reward for Daisy’s safe return – they said the neighbour had refused the reward, but they were “working out something else to pay it forward”.
