Allyson McConnell says she is not ruling out having more children.

The 34-year-old was deported back to Australia after serving 10-months in Canada for manslaughter in the death of her two young sons Connor, 2 and Jayden, 10 months.

Speaking to The Australian newspaper McConnell said she was still trying to get over what happened.

“It's been as upsetting for me as much as everyone else involved. I think about them every single day.

"I wasn't a bad mother; I was actually a very loving mother. But you never hear about that.”

McConnell has been staying at her family’s home in New South Wales.

There are two appeals in the case however McConnell was released and deported April 8.
