RCMP in Wetaskiwin are investigating after a teenaged male was found seriously injured, and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Police said on Thursday, just before 10:30 p.m. Wetaskiwin RCMP members were called to the area of 48 Street and 53 Avenue, where a teenaged male was found suffering from serious injuries.
He was taken to the Wetaskiwin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Later on, a male was found in front of the Wetaskiwin RCMP Detachment, suffering from non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to Wetaskiwin Hospital for treatment, and he’s still in police custody.
RCMP are investigating.
