Edmonton Police are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection to a violent sexual assault that took place downtown early Saturday morning.
Police are looking to find and arrest Jason Mark Bard, 22, on a warrant in relation to a violent sexual assault against a 21-year-old woman.
Bard allegedly offered to walk the woman to a bus stop on Saturday morning after a night of socializing.
Police say the assault took place on a path in the area of 95 Street and 105 Avenue.
Passing citizens helped the woman and scared the man off at around 7:30 a.m.
Bard is described as:
- 5’4”
- Dirty blonde hair
- Light brown eyes
- Last seen wearing blue jeans, black shirt with white on it, and white runners
- Mole above his left upper lip
- Scar in his inner eyebrow above left eye
Police are warning the public to be cautious if they spot Bard and ask anyone who spot him to call 911 instead of approaching him.
