Edmonton police are trying to identify a person of interest in their investigation surrounding the June slaying of an Edmonton senior.
The investigation started after Downtown Division officers were called to the area of 117 Avenue and 95 Street at about 10:45 a.m. June 12.
Officers arrived to find a man in his 60s deceased, and the circumstances surrounding his death appeared to be suspicious.
Investigators later determined the case was a homicide, and identified the victim as Lawrence Semeniuk, 67.
Police issued a still taken from surveillance video, showing a woman who was in the area at the time the homicide occurred.
