Occupy Edmonton protesters interrupted the first day of the fall sitting of the Legislature Monday afternoon.

Four individuals began shouting near the end of question period and identified themselves as part of the movement while they were escorted out.

The protesters have also ignored their latest eviction letter from the company that owns the park they are camping in.

Melcor gave the group a letter over the weekend that said they were to leave the property by 11 p.m. Sunday night.

The group has been insisting they will leave but on their own terms.

They have even developed an online petition to garner support.

Nearly 3,000 people have already signed it.
