Tar spill in construction zone

Emergency and construction crews were scrambling in a west-end residential neighbourhood to clean up thousands of litres of tar spilled in a construction zone Monday.

  Crews had to build up dikes of gravel and dirt to contain a tar spill on 69 Ave. and 172 St. on Monday, August 15.
