Edmonton police have laid charges against a man, in connection to the death of another man in late June.

Police said Thursday that Justin Mark Nanaquawetung, 26, turned himself in to police Wednesday afternoon.

Nanaquawetung is facing a charge of manslaughter, in connection to the death of Michael Bradley Laronde, 33, of Saskatchewan.

Laronde died June 22, from blunt force trauma to the head, after an altercation outside a pub in the area of 91 Street and 83 Avenue.

Police said Nanaquawetung appeared before a Justice of the Peace Wednesday night, and has been released on bail.
