Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death that happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 104 Avenue and 101 Street.
Police say a man in his 40s died in hospital following a report of a fight with a group of people.
Investigators are working to identify anyone who may have helped the man on scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday afternoon.
The homicide unit is investigating.
