Edmonton police said the death of a man, whose body was found in a north side alley Friday, is officially the city’s 14th homicide of the year.

On Friday, April 8, 2016, at about 11:30 p.m., officers were called to an alley in the area of 116 Avenue and 97 Street, after passersby found a deceased man.

On Tuesday, April 12, the Edmonton Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy, and determined Adrian Stanley Redcrow, 42, died as a result of stab wounds.

Now, Homicide Unit detectives are hoping to speak to witnesses who may have been in the area at about 11 p.m.
