A stolen U-Haul has been found abandoned in east Edmonton. The rental truck and the vehicle it was towing on a flat bed trailer were both located near 82 Ave. and 43 St.
Edmonton police report that all or at least a majority of the owner's possessions were still in the back of the truck.
The U-Haul belongs to a contractor and was filled with a number of tools and personal items. It was reported stolen from the parking lot of a downtown motel early Saturday morning.
It's the second time in two weeks that a U-Haul was stolen in the city.
