Dozens of Canada's Next Top Model hopefuls lined up at West Edmonton Mall Sunday for the chance to compete in the reality show's third season.

It is the first time the show has come to Edmonton for a casting call and many see the audition as a rare opportunity.

"I've always thought about doing it and I figured this was the perfect opportunity to try and do it," said Christina Hamer.

Judges say that while girls are required to meet height requirements and be photogenic, personality is just as important.

"She has to be able to meet people, sell herself, walk into a room and just wow them," said judge, Elmer Olsen.

The third season of Canada's Next Top Model will air this summer. The winner will receive a $100,000 modeling contract.
