A touching memorial service was held today for the victim of a bomb in Innisfail.
The young mother was murdered over a week ago when a package containing an explosive was delivered to her home.
The death of Vicky Shachtay has left the community of Innisfail in shock.
More than 250 family and friends, braved the cold, and packed a small Innisfail church.
Many wore red coloured hoodies, Shachtay's favourite colour, in honour of the young mother murdered.
"The service was a great tribute to Vicky. Her life and her faith in Jesus," says pastor Dave Wiebe.
The 23-year-old woman was killed in what police say was a targeted attack.
Investigators believe Shachtay found a package on her door step, a parcel which exploded shortly after she brought into her apartment.
RCMP are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A trust fund has been set up for Vicky Shachtay's daughter Destiny.
Donations for Destiny can be made "In trust for the daughter of Vicky Shachtay" through Royal Bank branches, Transit # 06829
