A judge hearing the trial of an Edmonton man accused of killing two prostitutes has ruled that evidence from several woman will be admissible to his trial.

The women had testified that Thomas Svekla had attacked them or their friends.

But Judge Sterling Sanderman ruled that testimony from several other women won't be allowed.

The Crown says it believes Svekla choked both Theresa Innes, 36, and Rachel Quinney, 19, to death, but the medical examiner has not been able to establish an exact cause of death.
