Organizers of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival released this year’s lineup for the August festival Wednesday.

Highlights of the main stage at the four day festival include Kaleo, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jason Isbell, Mike Farris and the Roseland Rhythm Revue, with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats closing out the weekend Sunday night.

Tickets to the popular festival go on sale starting Saturday, June 4 – they will be available in person, online or over the phone through Ticketmaster or at Ticketmaster outlets.

For those wishing to buy tickets in person, tickets will be sold at the Edmonton Ballpark (10233 96 Avenue), doors open by 7 a.m., and the ticket lottery cuts of by 8 a.m. There is a limit of six adult four-day passes and four adult single day/evening tickets per day, per order – but youth and senior tickets are unlimited.

Ticket and pass prices:

  • Personal Pass (non-transferable) - $179
  • Four-pack (transferable tickets) - $209
  • Evening tickets (for Thursday or Friday) - $63
  • Full day (Saturday or Sunday) - $73
  • Youth four-pack (transferable tickets) - $88

Single tickets for youths (12-17) and seniors (65-79) - $22 (evening on Thursday or Friday, or for full day on Saturday or Sunday)

Those 11-years-old and under, and those 80-years-old and up are free.

Visa, Mastercard, debit and cash are all accepted.

The festival is held in Gallabher Park from August 4 to 7, 2016.
