Edmonton police are turning to the public for help as they investigate a series of sexual assaults reported in early November.

Police said a woman reported that she was groped by a male as she walked through a parking lot in the area of 146 Avenue and 25 Street on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at about 6:20 p.m.

A second woman reported she was approached from behind and groped by a male suspect as she walked from the Clareview LRT Station to the Clareview Recreation Centre at about 7:30 p.m., also on Tuesday, November 8.

A third woman said she was groped from behind by a male suspect, as she was running to catch a bus in the area of 137 Avenue and 27 Street at about 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Between 30 and 35-years-old
  • Slim build
  • Between 170 cm (5’7”) and 172.5 cm (5’8”) tall
  • Dark eyes
  • Short brown hair
  • Full beard and moustache

The suspect was wearing a black or dark-coloured toque in all three incidents, with either a Carhart-style jacket, or light-coloured jacket with layers.
