Three inmates have been charged in the Christmas Eve murder of Curtis Dale Hill at the Edmonton Remand Centre.
31-year-old Grant Lewis and 30-year-old Ryan Prystay are both charged with first degree murder. 29-year-old Matthew Anderson is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Police were called to the Remand Centre on the evening of Tuesday, December 24, 2013.
Witnesses told police there had been an alteraction between inmates in a cell.
Paramedics treated the victim; he was pronounced dead on scene shortly after.
Autopsy results show 34-year-old Curtis Hill died from injuries related to blunt force trauma.
