Travis Vader was back in court Tuesday morning, answering to charges unrelated to the disappearance of an elderly St. Albert couple.
He has pleaded not guilty to nearly a dozen charges, including firearms and property-related offenses, stemming from incidents around the Barrhead area in June of 2010.
A woman who was with Vader at the time of the alleged offences testified Tuesday, and told the court that Vader sold her crystal meth at least once, and provided the drug to her at least four other times.
Vader is the only person RCMP have identified as a suspect in the McCann case. The couple from St. Albert vanished in July of 2010. Police believe they were killed.
This is the second time Vader has been tried for crimes unrelated to the McCann's' disappearance.
This trial is expected to continue for four days.
