Three youths charged in connection with the death of a five-year old boy on the Samson First Nation made a brief court appearance Wednesday.
The youths appeared by closed circuit television in Wetaskiwin. The youths are each charged with manslaughter and weapons offences in the death Ethan Yellowbird in an apparent drive by shooting.
The boy was sleeping in his room when he was fatally struck by a bullet. The three youths, who cannot be named, will appear again on February 15th.
