Edmonton police are investigating a break and enter to a local cosmetics clinic where ‘expensive and unique’ items were stolen May 30.

Police initially responded to Perfection Cosmetics near 91 Street and 23 Avenue when a witness noticed broken glass near the front entrance of the store.

The list of items that were reported stolen includes a television and other electronics, as well as industry-specific equipment, such as lasers and a skin analysis machine.

The size of the equipment stolen leads police to suspect that multiple people and a vehicle was used to break into the clinic.

“The total value of the stolen items has been estimated to retail for more than one million dollars,” says Det. Stuart Davidson of the Criminal Investigations Section at Southeast Division.

Police want to speak to anyone who attended Perfection Cosmetics in the days leading up to the incident, and they encourage anyone with information to call EPS at 780-423-4567.
