EPS homicide detectives are investigating after a suspicious death north of downtown Friday night.
According to police, at about 9:30 p.m. officers received a 911 call to a basement suite apartment near 107 Avenue and 106 Street where they found a woman in “medical distress”.
Paramedics treated the injured woman on-scene and transported her to hospital - she died a short time later.
Homicide detectives continue to interview several “possible” witnesses.
An autopsy has yet to be scheduled and no other details have been released.
