Spruce Grove/Stony Plain/Enoch RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store early Monday morning.
Police said in the early morning hours of Monday, September 18, a male suspect wearing gloves and a gorilla mask went into a 7-11 located off of Highway 16A.
The male had a wrench and a chisel in his hand, and demanded money – he fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and goods.
Police were called to the scene and tried to track down the suspect, but they were not successful. RCMP released a still taken from surveillance video of the suspect – and asked anyone with details on this case to call RCMP at 780-968-7267.
