Pork Belly Sisig

  • ½ lb Pork Belly Roasted
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 Tsp minced thai chilies
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped green onion
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions: Season the Pork Belly with Salt and Pepper. Roast in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, then turn down to 225 degrees and continue roasting for 45 min until tender. Set aside to cool. Rough chop pork belly in ¼ pieces

In a skillet on med high, sauté garlic, onions, ginger and chilies in butter until translucent, 1 min.

Add the chopped pork belly and sauté for 5 min. Add soy sauce and lemon juice. Take off the heat. Once off the heat, add the mayonnaise and stir in until full incorporated and creamy.

Spoon over steamed rice and garnish with chopped green onion.
