Red Deer Revenue Canada building temporarily evacuated after grenade scare

The Canada Revenue Agency building in Red Deer was evacuated Thursday morning after reports of a grenade on the front steps of the building.
RCMP were called to the scene at 4996 49 Avenue just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The building was evacuated and police contained the area.
Police determined the grenade was a fake and seized the device.
People were allowed back into the building after the grenade was determined to be a fake.
RCMP continue to investigate.
