Crews have pulled down a bridge on the Sherwood Park freeway Friday night.
The demolition is part of the Anthony Henday construction project.
Workers will continue to dismantle the bridge over the weekend and are expected to be done by Monday.
The freeway will be closed in both directions from 34 Street to Sherwood Drive during the process.
A new bridge over the Henday is expected to open in Fall of 2014.
