A Christian youth leader from Edmonton was killed in a crash on the Coquihalla Highway south of Kamloops on Saturday afternoon.
Julian Dabbagh, 33, was killed as a result of his injuries after the minivan he was driving flipped just after 3 p.m.
RCMP say the van went off the paved section of the road to the left and when Dabbagh tried to correct the vehicle and turn it to the right it rolled several times.
Three other passengers in the vehicle, a 31-year-old woman her 2-year old son and 4-year-old daughter, were all taken to the Royal Inland Hospital in B.C with minor injuries. They are all expected to recover.
Police believe Dabbagh was not wearing a seatbelt.
