Edmonton police are on the scene of a suspicious death in the city’s southwest, after a man was found dead early Wednesday morning.
EPS said officers were called to help paramedics at about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, near 25 Avenue and 120 Street, in Blue Quill.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a deceased male; who officers on the scene said was believed to be in his 20s, lying on the road.
EPS are handling the death as suspicious, and officials have contacted the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Later Wednesday, police said an autopsy had been scheduled for Thursday morning to determine identity and cause of death.
