There will be several services held around Edmonton to mark Remembrance Day this Monday.

Join Premier Alison Redford as Albertans pay their respects to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Parking is free at the Butterdome for those attending.

Jasper Place Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will host a service at the ice palace.

Interdenominational Prayer Service

Local churches will gather to remember, reflect and pray for peace.

New Patricia Park
97 Street and 137 Avenue
Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry will hold a parade and ceremony at Patricia Park in Griesbach Village.
Starts at 10:30 a.m.
In addition to planned services the Edmonton Cemetery, Beechmount Cemetery and Northern Lights Cemetery will be lowering the Canadian flag in the Fields of Honour as a tribute.
As well, those in military uniform or legion dress with a Canadian Forces id card or a veteran’s card will travel free on Edmonton Transit, which will be operating on Sunday schedules.
