The court case against the man considered a suspect in the disappearance of Lyle and Marie McCann has been put of until late August.
Travis Vader was expected to go to trial in the Town of Evansburg. He is facing 16 charges including drug possession, firearms offences and resisting arrest. But the defence lawyer said he didn't have full disclosure from the Crown after taking over for Vader's original council.
The case has been adjorned until Aug. 22.
The 16 charges are unrelated to the missing St. Albert couple. He's never been charged in connection to the McCanns' disappearance, only named a suspect.
The McCanns were last seen back on July 3rd, 2010 when the couple left for a holiday in B.C. in their RV.
On July 5th, an Edson RCMP officer came across the couple's burning RV. On July 16th, their missing SUV was located.
Mounties continue to investigate, but they haven't charged anyone and the McCanns haven't been found.
