In what the Edmonton Eskimos say is a tribute to the club's rich history, the team released pictures of their new "signature look" uniform.
While the jersey maintains the classic green and gold colours, a large EE logo is featured on the front, gold piping on the shoulders, and the words "The Green & Gold is Bold" (the team fight song) stitched inside the collar.
The helmet, highlighted by a gold EE logo on each side of the green helmet, includes miniature Eskimos logos forming two stripes running along the top of the helmet. Gold pants, also featuring the classic EE logo, sport green trim along the sides.
The team’s new uniform is part of the league-wide unveiling of the CFL Signature Uniform series.
The new uniforms make their debut during the Labour Day Rematch against the Stampeders Saturday at Commonwealth Stadium.
