Police in Jasper are investigating after a Greyhound bus was involved in a single-vehicle collision early Monday morning.

Jasper RCMP said on Monday, just before 6 a.m., officers, the Jasper Fire Department and paramedics were called to the collision at the intersection of Highway 16 and the east end of Connaught Drive.

The bus had left the road, and ended up in the south ditch of Highway 16.

A number of passengers and the driver sustained injuries as a result of the crash, and they were taken to Seton General Hospital in Jasper. Police said the injuries were minor in nature.

Uninjured passengers were taken to the fire hall to continue to their destinations.

RCMP are investigating the crash.
