The RCMP is confirming that 46-year-old Colleen Sillito-Kruger was the victim of a murder-suicide on Friday morning outside a home in Fort Saskatchewan.
Investigators say Sillito-Kruger was shot by 54-year-old Paul Jacob before he took his own life with the same firearm.
Sillito-Kruger and Jacob were found dead on the driveway of a home on Alderson Close.
Investigators say two members of Sillito-Kruger’s immediate family were home at the time of her murder, but were unharmed.
Police previously had said none of her five children were home.
